When does the event take place?
The date always falls on a Sunday. In Nairobi, the venue is at the Waterfront- Ngong Racecourse.
What time is the event?
Gates open at 12 Noon, as do the food and fashion vendors. The first act gets on stage at 12;30pm, and the event wraps up by Midnight.
How much do tickets cost?
Nairobi:
Advance tickets range from Ksh 2,000-3,000
Gate price Kes. 3500
Children between 5-12 years enter for free. Ages 12-17 pay KES 1500 at the gate only.

Is it BYOB?
Only sealed (unopened) bottles or boxes of wine are allowed from outside. All other drinks will be available at the 2 bars on-site (beers, ciders, hard liquor, soft drinks, cocktails.)
There will be a water truck inside offering free refills with attendees’ own water bottle.
Can I bring my own food?
No food from outside allowed (unless a birthday cake!) or for strict dietary/medical needs. There’s a food fair on site with over 10 vendors with different cuisines ranging from 550-850 KES.

I’ve never been to the event, how does it work? What should I bring to the festival?
Each event showcases 4 live performances with brief DJ interludes, a great shopping experience with Fashion & Art Pop-up, great food options and lots of singing along and gleeful dancing. If you keep coming here, you will discover all sorts of discounts on taxis, food, ticket price and wine for the event! We just need you to bring your most favourite people in the world and the willingness to make happiness with us!
How do you select bands to play?
We’re looking for barrier-breaking artists with global appeal. We listen to their music uploads, if we are sufficiently impressed we track them down. To ensure we deliver quality performers, the Blankets & Wine team watches all acts perform to ensure they can deliver on the Blankets & Wine stage.
I have a band, they’re brilliant, how do they get to play?

If you do not have a link to a recording, write to us and let us know where the band plays often/ invite us to a rehearsal session.
